توفيت في ملبورن في 15 كانون الثاني إثر نوبة قلبية المأسوف عليها إيفا جليل واكيم شقيقة رجل الأعمال الصديق جايمس واكيم.
تقام الذبيحة الإلهية لراحة نفسها في سدني مساء السبت الواقع فيه 28 كانون الثاني الجاري الساعة السادسة مساء في كاتدرائية سيدة لبنان – هاريس بارك
الناعون: شقيقها جايمس وزوجته لولا وعائلتهما.
شقيقها جوزيف واكيم وعائلته.
أنسباؤها: ناصيف، جون وشربل واكيم ودنيس سايمن وعائلاتهم.
يُذكر في الصلاة معها والداها المرحومان جليل وسعاد واكيم وزوجة شقيقها جوزيف المرحومة ندى واكيم وجميع موتى العائلة وعموم عائلات كفرياشيت وبقاعكفرا.

Brief about her life
Eva was born in Lebanon in 1954 and migrated to Melbourne with her mother in 1965. She is the first born of 8 children to Jalil and Souad Wakim.
She was educated in a Catholic school and attended the Melbourne Maronite Church since childhood. Her devotion to her faith saw her actively take on a number of voluntary roles in Our lady of Lebanon Melbourne.
He working career was primarily in the public service spending many years with the Department of Social Security and the Department of Justice.
Eva was never married. She was a caring and loving daughter, sister, god-mother, aunty, great aunty, niece and best friend to hundreds of people in Australia and around the world. She travelled the world extensively and developed lifelong friendships.
The centre of her life was her parents, her sisters and brothers, and their family. Her endless love, support and willingness to help, was exemplary and was admired by all who knew her.
